Surging issues

So my bike has been flawless till now. Just at the 800 mile mark. Past few days I’ve been riding home from work and I keep getting the quick loss of power, feels like mabe no spark issue. It happens pretty quick like mabe one second long but does it consistently 3 or Mabe 4 times in a row. I’ve cleaned the ground coming off the battery at the starter area. Next I was going to check the ground coming off the coil but I’ll have to remove the tank to get at it to see it.I have not over filled the gas tank so I know it’s not that. Seems to do it when I’m holding cruising speed in 5th gear 50mph. Any ideas on what else to check? Thinking of ground is all ok mabe the coil might be getting ready to go out .
