Syx moto holeshot randomly dies

So I've searched can't seem to find a post with a similar issue. Picked up a holeshot 50cc for the kiddo. Runs and idles fine. But last couple times it just randomly dies. Doesn't even bog then die. Kid will be riding and it will just shut off. Checked kill switch it seems ok. Idles smooth and starts within one to two pulls even without choke. Sometimes he can ride for 10 seconds, sometimes it's 30-60 seconds and just shuts off. No clue.

Check your petcock on the carb. The rubber inside may have shifted. Also, these carbs tend to run dry after being on WOT after a while. Pocketbikeplanet had a few guys who shows you how to modify the carb to delete the petcock. I went to a pumper carb for mine.

I don't, unfortunately. I didn't make a note of it, since I didn't like the stock carb. But, if you go over there and search, it should pop up for you

Is this what your referring to? Is this likely to cause the symptoms and still start right back up?

Part of it? Would this also allow it to start right back up if that were the issue?

Possibly. Like I said, I swapped carb styles altogether. The guys there will be better able to answer your question.
