Hello I need help i am having difficulty getting the lock nut off of the clutch. My Venom x20 arrived at my doorstep with a dysfunctional clutch. It stalls and lurches forward when i hold the clutch in and click into 1st. If i point it down a hill and click into 1st i can get going and click into 2nd 3rd without holding the clutch in. stalls when i stop the bike.
so they sent a replacement, but i am having major difficulty removing the lock nut. in the picture you can see i started drilling at it but quickly realized im going to screw something up by doing that. Please help :/ i also have the clutch tool and still can't get it to budge.... i attached it to a drill, breaker bar, ratchet, nothing works... ![]() ![]() |

An impact wrench using the clutch tool is the best way otherwise the clutch cage will spin. You can by a wrench to hold the clutch basket so you can use a breaker bar or something but a battery or plug in electrical impact wrench does a good job knocking it loose by impact so the cage stays put. You might be able to rent one.
