So after speaking with 12oclock labs - I apparently have a 'dirty' signal on the speedo sensor on my Brozz 250. It was suggested I get some 0.1uf capacitors to 'clean it up'. I would have thought that for 80.00 they could have sent me a .25 component or three. After about 7.00 I have some coming tomorrow so I guess we shall see what they do. Hope it fixes it.

I started having that issue with my Speedodrd. When starting the bike, the speed would go crazy, 3 digit numbers flashing as fast as it could go. Of course adding miles on the OD as well. It would stop if I moved the bike around, most of the time, else I would shut it down. I talked to the company support and he pretty much gave me the, it's a chinese bike electrical noise issue. He suggested a capacitor in the circuit might clean it up. Anyway, I have it off now. I'm not sure what to do with it. I was looking at the digital cluster that Stewbrash purchased because the wheel diameter can be programmed. Which I think is likely the problem all along. I think there might be a link here somewhere, but haven't found it yet. John |
