What NOT to loctite?
Are there specific items that should be avoided (or specifically included) when you check all bolts and loctite them?
Im looking for those 'not so obvious' items that could be overlooked. |

Loctite is not needed on everything. Engine bolts are usually good from the factory. Just check all the bolts on the bike. If you have to put a lot of pressure on a bolt to remove it then it should be okay. If it is loose and has to be snugged up the remove it and apply Loctite. Bolts like the ones on the brake calipers , exhaust, foot pegs I would remove and apply.

Thanks for asking this question. I'm brand new to owning a bike - as it isn't even here yet (coming next Monday or Tuesday) - but I kept seeing loctite thrown around and was wondering, what the heck do I need to do loctite!

I been putting Loctite on my plastics and Brush guards on my TBR7 too! Hate to have a fender come off and get into my spokes. I used the medium blue stuff, was this a bad ideal?
