Tao Tao DB17 clutch cover - can they be bought?
I am having problems finding a website that sells the correct clutch cover for a 2020 Tao Tao DB-17. I have bought 4 of them off various websites but when they show up they are wrong. The DB-17 has a circle clutch cover all the ones i have been shipped have been oval for some reason.
I guess i am wondering where everyone goes to get their china bike parts. If you can help me make my sons day by tracking this down so i can fix his bike it would be greatly appreciated.  in advance.

I ordered some mechanical parts (cdi, rectifier, carb) off of ebay. I'm starting on the second one that is down. I was able to actually pick of two Linhai 260's for $400 bucks. |

I've looked on a few sites and both indicate that the TaoTao DB17 utilizes the oval style clutch cover, as you've experienced. Can you post up a few pics of the engine cover you have, quite possibly it isn't the original engine in the bike. Lifan engines use the big round clutch covers on their crank-mounted clutch manual trans engines, among other manufacturers.

I think both circle n oval interchange? Check depth for oil pump clutch clearance.
