Front and rear wheel bearings on an Apollo rx250
Hi everyone, so I bought a used Apollo RX250 Knowing that it needed front and rear wheel bearings. I'm wondering if anyone has actually changed them on the bike? I was able to source them for the rear, but I'm still unsure how many bearings they're actually are I haven't pressed anything out yet. I'm imagining there's two per axle, i.e. inner and outer? Also wondering if anyone knows the actual size of the front bearings? I'm not familiar with these bikes at all so any insight would be very helpful, to thanks!

I'd suggest buying a cheap pair of calipers and measure the important dimensions, O.D., I.D. and width (always metric with these). Another quick note, if you can't measure the width, you can still Ctrl+f on the PDF, and looking at the different series mentioned below, you can probably make an educated guess on the size.
http://motorsportsbearings.com/how-t...-bearings.html Then go here and download a copy: https://www.skf.com/binary/21-121486...--17000-EN.pdf And compare. They're probably a standard set of bearing sizes in the 62xx or 63xx range, so it shouldn't be too hard to find, then you can go to just about any auto parts store, or a bearing/industrial supply place, give them the bearing number, and there you have it. They might also have the number on them, just Google the different numbers and you might find what you need pretty easily. The PDF might seem like drinking out of a fire hose, but I can almost guarantee every bearing in that bike can be found in that catalogue, and once you figure out how to use it, you can share the sizes with the class. |

Pull the seals and the bearings. Clean them up. Look on the side of the bearing seal. Should see something like 6301RS (example only). Look it up on your favourite parts site. On the actual seal, you will see 3 numbers.(I had to use a magnifying glass.) That is the size of the seal. Look it up on a Seal site. Mine came in a suzuki part bag. 09283-20051 was the part number. Yours my be different.

Pull bearings and match
The time spent asking online is a iut as much as getting info directly from the bike you have in your garage |

As he said.... the best advice you will get on this subject... remove the bearings and look at the numbers on them... ..
