I just got a PZ30 pumper. I found this thread really useful. I bought one that’s a no name and not a whole lot of info really but it’s got the setup on the side for our correct choke lever and it has an inline filter on it. My question is how do I find the correct jets for this? Both the slow and main. I’m looking everywhere but I can’t find any. I don’t know what words to search for. I’ve put in PZ30 jets, keihin jets... nothing specifically fitting this carb comes up. I’ve searched forums too and I can’t find what I need. Thanks guys!

Take pictures of the jets and post them up.

Sounds like a plan. I should have it soon. (I just ordered it today) I’ll post up some pics and hopefully we can figure this thing out. Thanks for your help.

Here pix of the jet. Has Keihin stamp symbol and says 33. This carb is stamped also with "You all" but in a different place. The bowl has Russia Standard on it. Could be making two different carbs with different jets? Anyone recognize this jet?

That looks like half of a n424 or 99103 jet. Like the emulsion tube on the end is missing.

Here is better shot of the internal engagement. There is a tapered brass plug the jet seats on. The jet itself is concave so it forms a seal. This N424 Keihin jet looks similar but says 4.5 mm and my jet measures 4.8 on the body and 5 mm on thread. Emailing the seller so see what they have to say.
Here is link to similar Keihin N424. http://www.keihin-fcr.com/index.php?...roduct_id=1815 |

That is the same as my PZ30B and what is in my first tune kits. I am 99% sure.
Best I know there are 3 types of pilot jets in the Chinese clone PZ30 Keihin based carbs (1 of each is in the first tune kit I sell, also used in the PZ30B I sell) https://www.ebay.com/itm/303169447550 Last edited by NzBrakelathes; 05-28-2019 at 04:40 AM. |

Can anyone identify these jets? Completely new to this and I assume these are the only jets in the carb? Where can I buy these? These don’t match anything I’ve seen online

I figured that out. I unscrewed it and everything looks exactly like the hawk. So at least I know what I’m working with. I found a website that showed that the main jet unscrewed from that tube, I thought it was one piece.
