That is real nice work.

That's true but I really like the way yours turned out. Both of you have more skill on this than I have, I doubt if I could get it to turn out as nice.

Diggy,
Here are some pics of the fender as you requested. You can see a reference point for the tip length at about 4.5 inches on the tape measure.

As for the saddlebags, they are Coleman bags, although they have a MadDog logo on them. Cost me $45 from Amazon. They hang from straps that run under or on top of the seat. I had to make a bracket to keep them away from the muffler or they would melt.

The mount is nice and solid, even with the rubber mounting grommets.

The windshield is a piece of polycarbonate (also from hd) that i trimmed with an aviation snips, smoothed with a file, and then thermoformed by hand with a heatgun. For the windshield profile, i just traced the outline of the headlight housing and flipped it upside down. At about 50mph, the windshield does a great job of deflecting wind from the neck down-- i am a 6 ft rider.

P.s, forgive the honda decals.. I got tired of trying to explain the whole haosan/rps/hawk thing to people so now there is no need for anyone to ask what it is.
i will pay for you to make and send me a winshield. Plz! Yours looks amazing!

Warning!!! This forum can be hazardous to your wallet. The best thing about these bikes is customizing them. Good choice of color. Black is the fastest color. Lol

OK so newbie raising all sorts of threads from the dead. This might be a real dumb question but what are sheet metal tongs that you used to make the curveand what thickness is the poly you used?

1/8" think.
Sheet Metal tongs makes it easy to get long bends and keeping it straight.

So shaping and bending is just a matter of a heat gun, huh?
I have some plastic at home. This could be a good "beer project".
