Most likely an AC but could be DC, actually if you get it wrong or have a loom that is say AC but you need DC then I can special order a CDI to suit the motor.
AC and DC plugs differ but there is a work around.

Wait if you put power to the starter and crank do you get about 50 volts AC voltage from the Blue white wire? Something like that is how you could test it with a volt meter.

For all it is worth, see if American Lifan can help you.

Most ac-in = red/black. blue/white is trigger line. Test w/ meter is the ONLY way to knew what's inside.

From memory Lifan is the 5mm variety that uses JTF1264 that unlike mainstream 4mm

This must be the AC ignition yes?
4 stator wires red being the input volts for CDI
Blue white trigger and green white eart of trigger.
Other 3 are the charging wires.

Found this while I am trying to work out what I have on my CQR I know it is DC CDI but wondering why my Tacho is slow - yet plugs are square which I thought meant AC?
