Boom 125: To vm22 carb during break-in periods?

I just currently got my Boom125-15, i just ran it 100miles.

My question is.. is it ok to swap the carb during break in periods?

is it better or should i wait it out?

Thanks 🙏

I agree with Chinabike it's okay to go ahead and swap it, but even if you don't, I'd make it a point to pull the plug and check it , it's pretty common for the card air/fuel mixture to be set super lean , and it makes the motor run on the hot side - if it shows signs of lean adjust the air /fuel mix screw out 1/2 a turn . ,these little motors already have to work hard no sense running em lean and making extra heat for no real benefit.

But he won't be able to adjust the air/fuel on the stock carb. sealed.

Thanks guys! i went ahead and changed the carburetor and man it now runs so amooth, dialed in the mixture just right i guess i have yet to check plugs. but it looks and feels promising.

Difference in speed noticeable, i am now topping out at 60mph with a 17t sprocket..

i am now noticing a stable rpm. before it gets high when heating up.

just a concern: my bile idles high when on a stand tilted, and normal when it is upright. is that normal?

Maybe throttle cable is a little short? does it do rev when you just turn the handlebars?
