Hello from Denver - Venom X20

Hey Everyone,

Originally came here for info on the TaoTao hellcat, ended up ordering one but they must be super popular right now. Shipping dates kept getting pushed back so I ended up ordering a Venom X20. Thanks imapdog for the referral, Venom honored your discount. The bike should be here next week, I'll be sure to post pictures. In the meantime any upgrades I should do right off the bat?

I never have tried startup on a stock one. i will be sure to do one to compare on the next one. i currently have three still in the crate. i really do not like the stock exhaust on these. it sound like a very quiet scooter, which has to hinder the true power that lies beneath....i have used stock front sprocket and it sucks. get $6 17t front and your gears will be a bit longer so you dont have to change gears until you're thru a redlight. i would start with 17t front sprocket, then carb and exhaust same time. here is a good post/thread to model after. pretty much a cookie cutter method of getting the most out of these....

Picked up the bike on Tuesday from the terminal. Just got the front wheel on the bike and charged the battery. MCO should be here tomorrow and insurance is already queued up so hopefully early next week I'll be riding.

i like the white too

i love these.i will now have to get a white one....
fyi, my running tail light and license plate light do not power on.
i had to rewire last 4 x20's. every time i assemble one i wonder
if i am missing something to have power to them.
p.s. i travel to denver every january 6th week.
maybe i can see it next time.
