Vader 125 draining battery while riding

I have a stock 2016 Vader 125 with roughly 260 miles in it. The bike wont hold a charge. While riding it will drain the battery the speedometer power cuts out then the bike dies and won't star back up. If I charge the battery on a trickle charger I still have to jump start the Vader for it to kick over then it wil run good until that battery drains. Any idea?

Your charging system isn't working properly. You need a multimeter to verify. But first I would do a simple wiring check. Go over all the wires and connectors and look for a problem. Disconnect all connectors and check the wires and pins and solidly reconnect. This should be a simple issue to trace out.

Could also be as simple as a bad battery. Again you need a multimeter.

I ended up reading on this forum it's the bulbs that drain the battery so I'm gonna try swapping those out.
