ZS200GY-A rear suspension rebuild.
Hi friends, here is the situation.
A while ago I disassembled rear suspension linkage, completely. I just cleaned it and lubricated it with grease. After I re-assembled it, and after some miles, I noticed that there is a free play in the linkage. There is play on several points on the linkage. I torqued all the bolts correctly, but no help. Anyway, can I get some guides, suggestions, procedures to the rear suspension linkage rebuild? Thanks. |

i wouldn't think there will be a bearing kit for it...
so your best bet would be to remove the needle races and meassure them along with the seals.. New sleeves are going to be the hard bit to find. hope you can find someone that sell the standard parts.. the hole they press into in the relay arm will give you there OD and the OD of the sleeve wil give you the ID of the bearing.. just meassure there length.. ..

I an having trouble to understand with my poor English. Is it possible that You wanted to say, instead of bold "sleeve", "needle race"?? So, to find new sleeves, I measure the OD of needle races and the ID of metal housing. Are only the rings (or, name it, sleeves) changed, or the needle races also? Needle races are of hard material, while the sleeves are of messing or copper, I can not say for sure (softer metal anyway). As I understand, there should be no play between needle races (through which the bolt goes) and the sleeves (or rings)? |
