LOL thank you for asking. Actually, weather does not seem to affect it. Some days it hurts, and some doesn't. My wife and I actually did a weekend hiking trip in north Alabama last week and I don't feel as confident on it but I can still get around at about 85%... and much to my dismay, I've been afraid to get on the trampoline with my kids

Peter,

I located the spare 6mm grease zerks (purchased from Tractor Supply) that are for the mower deck.

Rolled the RX3 out of the garage onto the wet driveway (first rain in a month).

Get on my hands and knees with a flashlight.

Get my hands greasy feeling and looking for those elusive zerks.

I know my hearing is failing, but am I going blind too?

Can't find any zerks.

Is it possible the 2015 RX3 doesn't have them on the swingarm ?

jb

I do not believe that the 2015 has them. Mine doesn't unless I'm blind also....and that's a possibility!

jb, As I recall, that was one change for '16. It would be dead simple to install a pair once you have the swingarm off the bike. Somehow I thought yours was a '16.

The zerks are on the upper part of the swingarm so you get to them from above. I have not checked but suspect it would be easier to access them if they were on the bottom side. You will find that there are two rows of needle bearings on each side. The zerk goes between those sets of bearings.

Yep.....not there on the 2015.

I was hoping to replace the zerks without having to remove the swing arm.......

After dismembering the swing arm and shock linkage its nice to see needle bearings used throughout and double row in places.
Used to be that you would see bushings and even plastic bushings in those areas.
Says a lot to why this bike rails so nicely thru the twisties.

But the price went up $400 on the 2016.
Drill, tap, insert Zerk, be happy.

I would be happier if I didn't have to remove the swingarm.

I just got a pack of zerks today and plan on installing tomorrow and pushing some grease. Might use dremel to shorten threads to match OEM length. Mine is a 2016 but I haven't yet looked for them.

One of our fellow ChinaRiders was nice enough to put together a deal with a Chinese broker for those who wanted them. There was a list and such of those who wanted them and then he ordered. I believe he used the information about Taobao and how to use a broker which is detailed on the forum topic: http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...d=1#post180721.
I like them a lot!

So...I've got a 2016 RX3 and there are no Zerk fittings on the swingarm on my bike. Looked and felt all over. Bummer!

Inroads,

I have one pair of Dragon badges left, and have been able to obtain a few sets the "old style" Zongshen name and logo badges.

Send a PM if interested.

Or I can send you a link to to the badges on Tao Bao (Chinese eBay).
