Barnone, I posted a link to this bike from saferwholesale on mychinamoto. Way overpriced, but they took a Dong Fang cruiser bike and slapped on a sidecar. I posted it because you like hacks and it uses the exact same engine in your DF bobber.

Here is a Nepalese short film based on some guys quest for a new Buccaneer 250. If you can bear to watch all 15 minutes of it you will get see about a minute or so of the actual bike on the road in Nepal. Enjoy!

Prices are about a $1000 too high for a Chinese bike IMHO.
Great point. My Dad has been considering a new 2015 (slow selling) Yamaha Vstar 250 for around the same price.

They aren't cheap and that may hamper their marketing. One thing for sure though, they're bound to be well built.

The most well-built, in my opinion, will be the Snake Eyes--it is generally the same bike as the XF250 since it is built by the same OEM as the XF250. The two Bucaneers are OEM'd by someone else, but from what I understand, Qingqi/Pioneer do have a few other subsidiaries so the Bucaneers could be built by one of them. Not sure, and I don't have the patience to track down the who's who of Chinese manufacturers.

Worse movie ever saved by a cool bike. That being said, there is a company out of Taiwan who make a Chinese-like enduro bike. The company is called Hartford, and their most recent connection to us is CSC used to use their 150cc vertical single in their Mustang-replica. Anyway, there is a video of some tourist riding the Hartford on some incredibly rocky roads in Nepal going up a mountain, and I think for me, since I am biased towards enduros, I think any kind of enduro would be my dream bike if I was in Nepal.

Thanks but I thought about putting a sidecar on my DF but it is under powered as a solo so would really be slow with a sidecar attached.
Still waiting for info on the 400cc sidecar.
