Not as fast, but much smoother and quieter than the contemporary 2t kawasaki 750.
The Kawi frame was pretty flexy too.

were a good bike in there day...
were good for 110 / 115mph....

the H2 Kawasaki 750 triple was
a faster bike...

It was a 500 mach 1 triple that had the flexy frame..

I raced a kawasaki S3 400 triple.. till the yamaha RD400
came along then bought one & raced it..

mine you all bikes back then had a hinge in the frame on todays standards..

I think I am with Pete on this one ,the water buffalo was never known to be the good one ,at least in the performance category ,they were cheap to buy and reasonably reliable though .All the Kawi bikes were better performers ,and my rd Junkaha had no problem kicking their ass .

yeah but it is no longer about fast because you will probably get smoked by a ninja 300, so it about cool. For 2k only a china bike can provide more fun for less money.
