LOL Everyone that has seen it is buying one. Just a great value for the dollars. Get one for every vehicle.

No, these devices are lithium polymer batteries, which are not compatible with a motorcycle's charging system. Motorcycles and cars employ the lithium/iron/phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, which have a different chemistry.

got one a while back for my car more than anything else. it also helps for those that own Hybrid vehicles like a prius where if your other car has a dead battery, you can't jump it from a the hybrid. super annoying!

I don't know about the unit listed but the concept could be used. The one i just bought uses"Smart Technology" (it test your battery before it kicks in). There isn't anything in the literature to help explain this but I'd assume your battery has to have a certain amount of charge for it to work so it could probably be used along with a week battery.

However back to the concept. If you use a capacitor bank along with a small battery to charge the capacitor bank you should be able to get by with this. Batteries restrict flow where caps give you everything within a few seconds but don't store large charges.

To help explain what I mean the battery might take 30 second to charge the caps where that same charge would be delivered in about 3 seconds. So you get high RPMs out of your starter for easier starts.

I know this is a little old for an answer but maybe it might help someone else wondering the same thing.
