I love that road, State Route 12 in Utah, one of the best roads in the United States!

2016's look REAL good. Only thing I don't like is the blue graphics on the white bikes. Everything else looks great. And sounds like almost sold out already! Hopefully CSC won't go majority of the year without any bikes on hand like they did in 2015. http://californiascooterco.com/blog/?p=19649

I love this view of the Sahara Orange bikes lined up, fresh off the assembly line.

A modification that would make any KLR owner proud: a side stand enlarger plate.

It is a bit big, but it is what I had laying around (pun intended). 1/4" aluminum, countersunk on bottom side, flathead screw. Any shape, 2" to 3" would work. Drilled a hole thru the side stand foot. Easy-peasy.

Another project: Replaced the cig lighter outlet with a Powerlet.

The hole is bigger than the Powerlet's so some washers are needed. I had some left over from the conversion on my Stelvio.
FYI - Powerlet grips the plug, cigarette outlets do not, it's straight friction, and the plug will wiggle loose.

new center stand GASP

I emailed CSC yesterday to order the newer center stand and to my "it must be my lucky day" amazement ,Ryan gives a discount for those who bought the first generation one. $60 plus shipping. Gasp. Another superb example of the kind of people and customer satisfaction CSC is giving. I ask them if it was ok to share this with you guys and they said share away. I thank you and I thank you and I thank you ,rj

Thanks for reporting yet another example of unparalleled customer service from CSC, Rob. We are very fortunate that such a reputable company as CSC decided to import the Zongshen motorcycles to North America.

Ryan called me the other day and asked if I would let Dynojet use my bike for a Power Commander install. I just dropped the bike off today. I don't know how long they need it for, but I said that could have it for as long as they needed it.

That's great! I didn't know DynoJet was located in Las Vegas until I checked their website.

Woohoo!! Paid for my '16 red RX3 in full yesterday, so excited. CSC is putting on a 13t front sprocket, and K270's on for no extra labor charge!! Ryan and the crew are awesome!

The only thing I'm worried about is the battery failing and leaving me stranded somewhere someday - should I get a new upgraded shortly after I get the bike? Is the '16 battery any different from previous years?

Congratulations, and welcome to The Cult of The Zong.

I don't know if the battery has been changed for the 2016 model. I suggest you call Ryan at CSC and ask him. If the battery has not been changed, perhaps you might want to upgrade the battery before you receive delivery of your motorcycle.
