If the regulator/rectifier is good, and the wiring is good, then you shouldn't blow a new flasher relay. However, if you don't need to install one, save the money.

so back to the zong i cant get it to idle and accelerate right what am i missing this time i wonder.... it will rev up then bog out like its draining the carb of fuel but not filling up

Check the needle valve in the carburetor bowl.

its clean and operating properly as far as i can tell ill pull it and see it the floats are properly adjusted maybe there to low....

Make sure the tank is venting too. Try opening the fuel cap and see if it gets better.

well i found a broken spring in the choke...... i wonder if that was the problem.... i also got a bigger hose for the fuel.... got a lot of rust powder out of the filter in the petcock valve as well...... arg it never ends
