Rode the snake today. U.S. 421, Shady Valley

Everyone knows about Deal's Gap (The Dragon), I guess you cold call 421 the evil cousin to Deal's Gap. 489 curves in 12 miles!! Ad to that the elevation change of 2000 ft (I think)... it's one fun road!
I rode with a freind who was on a KLR 650... so we took the chance to ride some trails on Holston mountain... then rode the Snake again coming home.

I'm very tired and I know I'm making no sense. Just google "Shady Valley, u.s. 421".

And of course I left my camera at home, so that makes this a useless post....
