Roger and Doc on break.
Roger resting, Doc chilling, both guys very happy. We call our nearly matching Yamahas 'The Blues Brothers'. LOL!

It's tough to beat a scene like that.

Hopefully I will be able to share the experiance with you, Brother Weld.
A TW200 would do well on that terrain. I'd be interested to see how the wide tires would do on the sand.

As long as the little 200cc furnace can produce enough torque, it should do very well (I hope).

I'm interested.
Generally, it requires a lot of power to get around in the deep soft sand. My XR250, which has quite a bit more juice than a TW200, was only barely able to do it. Roger's KLX300, with more power than the XR250, was better, almost OK. It was not until I started riding open class motocrossers there that I really started to love it, with Roger's KX450 being the king of the hill. A 200 would be limp powerwise, but the wide tires are the wildcard. They just might reduce the drag to the point where you just putt around happily, I don't know. Especially if you can run them at low PSI, say 8-10 or so.

It also never occurred to me to describe my bike as "limp." Now I have bike envy.

Sorry no offense meant :-)
Please don't take that wrong. My KLX250, with Stage 1 modifications and excellent knobbies has a hard time out there, and it has decent power.

If I was on the YZ400F D/S and you were on the TW200, and we were on a twisty narrow technical mountain trail I would be the one with bike envy. It's all about the tool for the job :-)

It's nice to see the complete absence of snow.
