'Chained' up...

Was attempting to ride home from work in the rain on Friday. Crunch, rip, tear...the now kind of familiar chain ripping off the bike sound, taking a few pieces of the bike with it.

Had to buy a new chain ( again) and installed the original 56 tooth sprocket since the aftermarket 40 tooth one was missing a few teeth and the rest were sharpened to a point (this was the 3rd chain to go out with this sprocket on).

If someone on the UK Ebay will sell me a 48 tooth sprocket for the Derbi Senda 125r that will be the easiest and most cost effective way, or else I will cough up the $55 for another custom one from Rebel Gears since the 40 t one they made fit perfectly, and they still have the dimensions for it. I am leaning for a 44 or 46 t if I have to go custom, this time.

My question is...Spud; you linked a source for an O-ring chain which I think would be better for me. Do you still have that link?

I highly recommend the KMC 428UO drive chain. You can purchase it from OEMCycle.com for $36.40.

You can also find this drive chain for sale on eBay.
