Amazing photo's.Couldn't believe that there would be an NSU Quickly in amongst this lot!
In the late 60's in Ireland every council worker and farm laborer owned one of these. That is until the little Honda 50 arrived on the scene and that was the end of the"Quickly". Thanks for sharing. |

Just a few more pics, then I'll stop. Scott water cooled 2 smoke My favorite European bike, the Nimbus. Sigh, some day. Wankel powered Suzuki 1914 Harley. 2012 Cannon Ball Run Finisher Salzbury Scooter Schwinn Black Phantom. What some of us old guys lusted after as kids. The Bergman and the Maggot. The guy on the 'wing had come in from Des Moines and was waiting on his two brothers who were coming in from Minnesnowta. That's it. There are more pics but this is enough. Going hunting in WY for the next 10 days.

Thanks for posting more great photos, Cheesy. I need to stop at that museum the next time I pass through Iowa.

Had a bit of a problem with Photobucket this week and most of the pics in this thread were deleted. All fixed now and Pb has received a tersely worded email.

Egads! Did Photobucket find, and replace the deleted files, or did you need to do the repair work?

Seriously, thanks for taking the time to share the pics, and the subsequent time to fix them.

What happened was that their phone app auto uploader, which I have used for a couple years now with never a problem, was "updated". After the "update", each new pic I took and uploaded also re-uploaded every pic from my phones storage. I didn't know it was happening until I got a text from at&t telling me I'd exceeded my data usage for the month. Had me confused because in 15 years of cell phone use, I never exceeded minutes or data usage.
Anyway, I had an icon on the phone telling me that my last upload failed. So for grins, I went to the website and saw that my storage limit was full, when I was at 60% three weeks ago. I found eight copies of every pic I had stored in my phone. So far, I have spent six hours over two days deleting photos. And I am still not done. I have no idea which pic I used for posting, so I just deleted until I came to the last one in a group of eight. I then looked at my posts and if I found the pic was deleted, I reposted it. Sheesh!

I hate automatic updates! I always disable them whenever I have the choice.

Ugh! What a lot of work. I can't imagine trying to figure out where I've posted my pics, especially since the old forum links are dead.
