KLX looking good. I can see it was very dry. Probably normal after summer. Yes that lumber rack is very smart idea. How is that attached to your bike? Is it with bolts? Do you know what is the limit you can carry on it? Probably more for bulky stuff. I know for Zong it's 5kg (11 pounds). Thank you for posting pics.

The KLX still looks brand new with almost 6,000 miles on the odometer. It's a great bike. The trick to loving it is to not ride it back to back with the YZ. Oh that Yamaha MOTOR! Oh that SUSPENSION! But the KLX holds up, and performs great for it's class of motorcycle, and is comfortable. 8) The weight limit on a Zong's rack is irrelevent. It's a very strong rack and a very strong subframe. Just pay attention to how weight affects the handling. I carry maybe 20 lbs on the KLX. The lumber is zip tied to a proper chrome moly steel powder coated rack. The wood just extends it.
