Playing hookie.

I had a light schedule today as did Roger so we took the morning off to ride the dunes. GW has left us with record cool temps so it was a beautiful day! Maybe upper 50's when we hit the desert. Low tonight predicted to be 41, another record...

These large powerful bikes are much more at home in the desert than the tight forest trails we rode last week. At one point today on a long smooth soft sand straightaway I had The Beast in 5th, pinned and accelerating. I must have been doing 50. That's a heck of a lot faster feeling than it sounds! 8O

It's hilarious to see a paddle-tired bike with a plate on it. Looks like it was a great day for a ride.

Winter is evil :twisted:

Because of that I don't waste a moment of summer. I work and play like a madman to enjoy every moment.

It's supposed to warm up to the 80's again this week, but normal this time of year is still 90's.
