Larson Hill, b.c. weekend

well we packed up the truck and trailer on Thursday and headed off into the mountains.

this is the same place that we went last year but this time we had no kids with is BONUS 8)

we only logged about 60 miles of riding but had fun exploring areas that we had not been able to go to due to kids

here are the pics that we managed to get when we were not riding.

here is our hide-a-way that we had someone hold for us

nice pile of dry seconds for us to burn

our water source

first fire of the weekend

one of the few pics of me lol

i had runners on and didn't want to get them wet

friday nights fire for diner ...potatoes on first

steaks on 1/2 hr later

neighbor cooking his dinner

Kelly patently waiting for diner to finish cooking

yayyyy it's ready!!!!

here you see that my scouting days paid off in a drying rack

here are a couple of the ladies from Quads.ca prepping for the ........wait for it

wait for it .....

THE PIG ROAST!!!!!!!

10 1/2 hrs later

saturdays ride wile waiting on the pig

rode along the old KVR railway that is now a part of the trans canada trail route

stopped on a bridge for a break and to re-align one of the 150 tires.

one spot we want to fish one of these times

and another

some of the younger drunk guys that were there decided that there was way too much wood just laying around

went for a bit of a night ride after dinner but didn't get any pics (too busy paying attention)

sunday morn we went for an early ride to an area we had not been to before beside the south side of the coquihalla hwy.

then onto the north side of the coquihalla hwy. along the gas line

then out of the blue we find this marvelous spot

thats it for this trip
hope you all enjoy.

think we will be going out wed for a fsr ride

Man, I have driven by that area hundreds of times for work, and I've always wanted to ride there. One of these days...

Thanks for keeping an eye on that giant fire; we don't need another province-wide disaster.

What needed re-aligning on Kelly's quad? Are the bushings working out ok?

was just the front left tire ....was out a little so made a small adjustment and that seemed to work.

the swing arm bushings are doing great .....I have been paying attention to the rear of her atv wile riding and everything is in alignment and straight so good to go for now lol

I love the pictures. Thank you for taking us out on the ride with you. Looks like a beautiful place with some great people and great ATV's.

Looking at the pig I'm thinking of going back to keeping Kosher though. Maybe I'll go vegan while I'm at it...

But your steaks sure looked good. :P
