I see it is a 350, but $3500 USD seems quite high, but I have nothing to compare that too I suppose.

Here, the Qingqi bikes look to be going for $2999 CDN, but they are a 200... And usually I've seen higher prices up here in Canada. Does seem high though.

Nice bike, nice components, and I've not seen a 350 before, but for that money I'd be looking at a slightly used Honda or similar.

Well I'm not looking but I figured the 350 would be cheaper. SO that we might actually get a review on one. But if they keep doing that nobody will buy one  I'd love to see a vid of one actually being put to work.

Now there's an '06 Honda CRF 450 listed on there for $3500... it says barely ridden.

And yeah, for that money, I'd be on the Honda.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/mcy/1099390433.html

Or how about a dualsported/plated 1997 XR400 for $2600?

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/mcy/1099301504.html

Hmm, I need to get a pocket full of money and head to Fenix... I see several good deals on there... like the CB500 for $700....

Deals can be found here, If people are patient enough to wait and not jump on the first bike they see. Plus they pretty have year round riding in PHX so it has a ton of cycles.

Rip-off.

These larger cc bikes simply aren't worth the inflated prices they charge.

I see KLR650's go for $3,000 on craigslist all the time.

o.k everybody hold on, thats not that bad a price,,,,maybe i just got a email here is the fine points you dont know 1. dealer cost 2. tank will not drop ship or allow you to sell a bike not put together 3. it costs to put together and prep 4. the dealer SHOULD be willing to stand behind the product and somehow make a profit.
i know the dealer cost as tank sent me a email
i dont sell tank although they want me too and i have sent a dealer app.
i seen this bike at the indy show, please go back and look at all my pictures assuming the number of pictures i took of this bike and guessing the cpi is 500-700 more do i need to say more on what impressed me you can see quality is it a rip well no, everyone needs to make a little is it worth it

I don't know, that's almost $4500 Canadian, and that would be before tax.. It is out of my price range as far as Chinese bikes go.

Yah that is the question, Is it worth the price, ANd I just cannot say yes. I would love to be able to say it is because I am Pro China bike . But that is only a little less than a new bike from the Jap lines :? . A new KLR650 MSRP is about $5100.00 Less at the end of the year. Thats a big step up for 1500 bucks 8O .....Tank needs to rethink the pricing.

I understand the dealers need to make money too... I do. I just don't think that this seems like the bike to do it with, with that kind of pricing. It's not about the dealer markup for us as customers, we know you need to make money, but honestly don't care how much goes to who, it is about the out the door price, and at this price, I would leave that in your shop. I guess I shouldn't be speaking for others though, so when I say we the consumer, just assume I mean me.
