No More Sitting on the Tank!
I fixed the seating position on the Hawk tonight. I hated sitting right at the tank. I had two of the seat pads from Walmart so I doubled on up and put it in the low spot and then put the other over the top. It does sit quite a bit higher but it's more leveled and much more comfortable for my 6'3" frame.

I have one of those on a different bike. They're ok. Made by Coleman and stamped with some other name that escapes me at the moment.

You can't beat it for the price.... I have one and it just didn't work out right on my Rhino as the plastic buckles were exactly where they came out from under the seat. I need to rig up some other straps because the Rhino seat is like a slab of pleather covered plywood.

How do you strap it on and get the side panels on? For some reason to get my pad tight enough to stay the latches are too low and I can't get my side panels on.
Do you keep the pad loose? |

I have the straps pulled tight and they are just out of the way for fitting the panels back on. You may try moving your pad forward or back to a wider position on the seat. I have no movement from the pad the way it sets now.

With the seat cut down 30mm , sags set the bike sits 130mm (5") lower when I'm seated on it.. just makes it easyer to get yer foot dowm on uneven ground... .
