Mine died...
Got my bike in June, have only 2208 Km on it and last week I noticed the HI-Beam wasn't working, didn't have time to fix it yet so just using Low beam, thought maybe the bulb went bad but yesterday, it was on (low beam) in the morning and as I was headed home at dusk I thought the light was on: as it got darker I was thinking I must not have adjusted the light properly and pointing too high, couldn't see light on the road.
Got home and wife says no headlight. My switch just totally died . Wouldn't be so bad if I had the driving lights installed but I haven't had the time to finish the mounting bracket. This is obviously a part of the bike where "sub-standard" really applies. I need to finish up the hand guard install this morning, parts still at machine shop and then replace that stinking switch, a friend has an extra Honda, XRM switch he'll let me have now and replace it for him later. Also going to get the driving lights installed. I don't like driving with out my headlight on, here the bikes don't have that always "on" feature of the US but I modified the YBR to be always on and have intended to do the same with TheZong. I don't like the fact that I can accidentally turn the lights off and be thinking they are on, it's happened several times already. Other riders of the RX3 should seriously consider replacing or modifying their light switch as soon as possible, before they, like me are riding home in the dark or being stuck someplace unintended. Zongshen needs to address this issue now. By the way SpudRider, when I installed the H4, 55/65 and relays I took your great idea and opened the back of the housing for easier access to the bulb, smart man that SpudRider... , next time you see him, tell him I said so.

Thanks for the warning. Your experience parallels mine. First the light switch gets sloppy. You think the light is on, but you need to move the switch a little to get it to work. Then one of the beams stops working. Finally, when you least expect it, and at the worst possible moment, both beams stop working.

Incidentally, my switch repair is still working very well.
