That's not too much wattage. What did your original headlight connector look like, compared to the new one? Can you show us?

Your skills test for the road? If so, I highly recommend that you take a MSF course.

Whats a msf course? I been riding around my storage unit and I took it up to the mounds orv park. I practiced a lot there in Michigan we have to take a written then you can ride with other people that have a motorcycle.I have no one so I'm going to Honda dealer where I can get a independant test right away for $280.00. Then I will have my endorsement. Then I can ride ,I changed my oil with belray thumper racing full synthetic 10w40 with ester. Im a little worried after I changed it the window is black , I hope when it settles I'll be able to see through it. The old stuff was black ,horrible looking I dont think they changed it very much at all .Should I heat it up and dump it and repeat the process until clear? What oil could I us that would be cheap to run through it but wont ruin the clutches. I let it warm up before I change it I let it run for 5 min then rode it around me unit a bunch then came back and dumped it. I had it on a motorcycle lift so it would drain better right?

MSF is the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Instead of paying $280.00 to the Honda dealer, I strongly encourage you to take the MSF rider safety course. If you pass the skills test given at the end of the course, most states will waive the government's skill test.

I understand. I'm sorry the classes are done for the year.

I used to teach motorcycle rider safety for the State of Idaho. I'm convinced that taking a rider safety course is one of the wisest things any motorcycle rider can do. The knowledge and skills gained can literally save your life. I strongly encourage you to take an MSF rider safety course next year.

Agreed. Even if you already have your full license, you should still make the MSF course a priority. You'll learn good skills there.

On the oil question, Shell Rotella 15W40 is cheap at Walmart.

It is also JASO-MA certified.

Riding with out a license also means no insurance coverage. If some thing happened a person could be way the hell up the creek with out a paddle. I know of several cases here locally that the bike owners could have bought a real nice new bike with the money they spent making it right with the law. Insurance is cheap if you just go liability and super expensive if you get into a situation that you need that coverage and don't have any. Covers licenesed riders only.
