Spent some money on the Hawk today.
Pulled the trigger on some Hawk 250 upgrades today. Brush guards, performance pipe, folding shifter, and 520 O-ring chain and sprockets. I went with the 12/33 which is very close to a 16/45 ratio in the stock 428 size. It will gear it up a little but still have plenty of power for offroad.
And I've already done the carb and monoshock so next thing is going Tubliss. After that it's just some fab work to make the footpegs wider. And Jerry and Dan have almost convinced me to shave and port the head. They're relentless I tell ya! Last edited by OneLeggedRider; 10-30-2019 at 01:59 AM. |
