Arashi Wind Deflector...Joe #2 Question

In order to quiet the wind noise at highway speeds (55-60 mph), I installed the Arashi wind deflector that Joe #2 posted about.

It seems to be a quality (made in China) part. I'm particularly impressed with the hardware, and its infinite adjustability.

I won't know if it works until tomorrow.

The question for Joe #2 is where do these 2 left over parts go?

I think they have to do with the rubber mounting clamps, but don't see any real need for them.
