Not reversed. I removed the OCS entirely. Moved the collecting clear tube to the underside of the air filter box, where there was a small (1 inch?) clear, sealed, tube. The hose running from the OCS to the air filter now goes directly to the engine's venting output. In order to keep it straight as you see in the picture, I had to cut 3 o 4 inches from the air filter side. I ended up with these surplus pieces: OCS, double bend hose that ran from engine to OCS, little clear sealed tube from underside of air filter.
I'll take another picture and post it here.
