New 250cc retro bike
www.avavelocityworks.com/what-is-ava/
A couple of articles: http://www.montereycountyweekly.com/...b6eeaa0b9.html http://rideapart.com/2013/05/ava-vel...rks-250-swift/ Member 'Birdmove' on mychinamoto (does he use the same screen name here?) of Hawaii has been actively searching bikes to purchase. He found ava bikes somewhere or another. Another mychinamoto member, Zorge, found the articles about ava. I guess Ava's main man is a designer first and foremost, like Scott Colisimo (sp?) of Cleveland Cycle Werks. He has designed a few scooters, and then felt that the US needed another line of retro bikes. The engine, according to one of the articles, is the familiar 223cc Loncin engine (usually designated as a '250'). My guess is the bikes are made by Skyteam since they are introducing the Honda Dream replica, and probably would be the holders of the licensing. Of course, even if they are "competing" with Ava, they still win, if they are the builders.
