Finally!! My American Lifan ct70 clone charging with 140cc

I Think All the Old timers know of my back and forths with this little bike.
I Bought it and then had a issue with the title due to the bad MSO the dealer gave me... that left a bad taste in my mouth even after I finally got it sorted out. I shoved it in the shed and it sat for a few years. I Bought a 140cc lifan engine and swapped it in it rode it for a bit but was always Pissed that it would not charge the battery.

I wired it like everyone else was wiring them up but with having a 4 pin cdi system and the 140 having a 5 pin it never charged unless it was idling....Ride to work and the lights would go dim... Even my Local scooter shop that is amazing was scratching their heads.

The 110cc went back in and I cursed it after having that badass 140cc in it. I hardy ever rode it... Well today I got up early and fired up the shop heater.. I picked the Clone up with a strap by my Engine hoist. I yanked the 110cc and threw the 140 back into it and took me quite a while even though it's a little bitty bike...

After getting the 140cc in and looking at the 2 completely different stators and magneto's I had tried to swap the mags and stators a few times but it just wouldnt work. The 110cc had a e start and the 140 was kicker only.
I then had a Revelation!!! Cut the entire backing plate out of the estart plate, cut the mounting plate off the 140cc stator plate. Use it to seal the 140 guts up and then use the 110cc staor and mag without the starter and chain...

Kick ... kick .. kick.. BRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPP And BRIGHT LIGHTS!!!!
I Rode the wheels off of it!! Damn is it ever fast!!! 65mph on 10" wheels

My Poor neighbors. They are going to hate me the next few days..
