Make/model dilemma..

So I bought my neighbor's Redcat GY200 for dirt cheap.. of course he doesn't have any paperwork with it and they won't register it here in FL.. they say I need proof where my neighbor got it from.

So I want to register it in VT and not sure what to put in the Model/Make fields.. this MSO I found online says Make: Kazuma; Model: Cheetah200. On the bike it says Redcat GY200.

TIA.

I would call it a Redcat GY200 and all you need is a bill of sale from the neighbor.

I agree; call it a Redcat GY200.

Thanks guys, that makes sense.
Is the VD-119 the application form I need to send in? Together with the bill of sale and $74 check.

Yeah but I didn't have a CoO.. so I just went with Redcat GY. VT registered it no problems, then I transferred it to FL and got a title so I'm all set!

I have same prob. I bought mine from a scrap yard. was really good looking bike with good feel when I gave the kick start a kick. I think it is the red cat cheetah 200cc, but all I have to go on is vin#. I got an intake and carb. and with one kick it started and ran good. still need lots of parts to finish. Any help would be great. seat, gas tank, all plastic , exhaust. cant seem to find the parts at Kazooma. thanks (new member)

Maybe need more details
VIN may means nothing in early imports - claims assembled by importer in US (1) Mexico (3) | 100% FAKE http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=16857 (Beta Alp 200 copycat) etc
---
The style is the key to find suitable parts, so pics helps ...

Welcome!

I agree with Humanbeing; pics would help a lot. Also, please start a new thread about your bike for better exposure.
