apollo 250cc 4 stroke
hey guys i have a question. why when i go kick start my apollo 250cc the kick start doesn't kick baCK UP??? i have to raise it up with my hand. no always but it does it a lot.
what can it be??? the bike prob has only 2 hours on it thank you guys |

The kicker return spring isn't hooked over the mechanism. I can't recall, but you might need to split the case to get it back on.
Before accepting that as truth, drain the oil and remove the side covers. Perhaps you can ease the spring back on using a pick.

weldagrind you don't think some is wrong with the motor?? like compression maybe?

Compression has nothing to do with the kick start returning ,it's done with a spring as mentioned above ,and it has probably become unhooked or possibly broken .

ok
i was worried because read some stuff saying about valve adjustments or rings blah blah. the bike runs great with the electric start. so should i be worried?? |

Not really worried ,but if you have warranty get it fixed on their dime ,and your electric start won't last forever then you have nothing but push starting it .
