USD fork oil seal size?
Does anybody know the size of a USD fork oil seal? One of mine has suddenly started to leak big style.

Sometimes cleaning the oil seal will remove a speck of grit, and stop the leak. You can use a "Seal Mate," a piece of 35mm film negative, a feeler gauge, or a paper business card to clean the oil seal. ![]() http://www.mxboards.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19 http://www.amazon.com/Motion-Pro-Sea.../dp/B0039LDF4A Spud ![]()

Apologies, I was in a bit of a rush earlier. To give the bike it's full title it's a Hongdou MD250GY. I've had a look at the seal and can't see any size visible, I'd take it to bits and pop down to the bearing suppliers but I already have the car in bits, and as it's 20 years old some parts are taking a bit of finding. As a stop gap I'll put some thicker oil in the forks and set about it when the car's fixed. I don't think cleaning will cure it, it's now done over 32k km and I think it will be due a new set.
