Best deal on a 200cc+ enduro?

Looking to order a couple for some buddies. What is the best deal currently out there. Seems like most companies I contact are out of the enduro models.

If they still have them, those are probably the last 4 Zongs for sale in the United States. However, the asking price of $1,799 is almost double what I paid for my Zong, and I don't think the asking price includes shipping! 8O

Just for fun I clicked on the 'Buy' button and went through the steps to calculate shipping to Washington State. The amount cane to zero so I think it includes shipping. :P

With that in mind IF the seller has some flexibility in price (I think these are all SIX year old leftovers for crying out loud) it may be an OK deal.

The fact is a Zong is worth a lot more than they are asking, but the bikes are left-left-left-left-left-left-overs and should be priced a little lower.

Called, they are sold out. I talked to the importer of TMEC enduros and I might just order a half container and resale the ones I don't need.

The TMEC's are also pretty popular models and well reviewed here. There is a dealer near me that seems to sell a lot of them on CL. Are they all Supermoto's or do they also make dualsports?

There are dual sport ones, they asked me whether I wanted the street or dirt tires. Its probably why mine has chrome rims instead of red or gold like all the pictures seem to have. They popped them on from another bike. The $1,400 price for my TMEC was with free shipping.

Brockway were did you order yours from? The TMEC's are very similar to the TW200/Zongshen correct?

Supersportz. The bike arrived 2 weeks late and they don't answer emails (call them if you want answers,) but the bike itself was fine and titling went smoothly. The TMEC's are Honda CG OHV engine clones. There's actually a Haynes manual for it (well, the TMEC 125 under the Chinese 125 catchall) that I own. Its extremely generic, but could be usefull.

No, as Brockway replied the TMEC 200 is a hondoid, or Honda clone. It is very different from the Yamaha TW200, or Zongshen 200GY-2.

Next time I am in L.A., probably next month, I will try to stop by.
