Irate New 300cc "Hawks" just released for 2023 in mexico

Ordered one two weeks ago for 2000 usd just got it today. 300cc with a crash bar with extra lights mounted. Comes with remote start, alarm and Gps. Also has a nice oil cooler on it. All led lighting. I know people are always looking for 300cc hawk and now they are finally here. Tried to post pics but my files are too big but damn this thing looks nice.

Yes sir. There is a brand called Vento that makes a 6 speed 250cc but a tad pricy.

Outside of the added torque there usually isn't much, if any, horsepower increase with the bigger CG engines. Even the "250" makes nearly the same peak hp as a 200cc engine, but revs lower and has a higher peak torque lower in the rpm ranges.

Is the added torque a big difference? The engine is new right now so I'm waiting for the engine to wear in. I still have my 250cc and I don't notice much of a difference right now.

Torque is always welcome, but it depends on what you are after. Torque will pull the hills, or my big fat butt, with greater ease. More Torque in the lower rpm ranges makes for more effortless riding without needing to wind the motor out.

The inverse is, bigger engines lack the rpm range so they need to be geared taller. If they make the same.Horsepower, then realistically they are going to have the same top speed if geared appropriately.

Always a give and take.

The bigger 250 and 300cc CG engines are great for city commuter duty or utility purposes.

just ride the snot out of you're current bike and consider the nominal 300cc 'big bore' kit down the road.

If you're lugging weight around steep hills or doing slow technical riding then the extra torque will make a difference.

the downside is a possible hit to fuel mileage/range.

With ported head, cam, roller followers, full exhaust, PE28 carb, and the cg300 jug, I get about 55-65mpg riding it like a sane, normal person.

I don't even recall what stock configuration got me...I know it was higher.

What gearing do you have? I self limit to 75mph due to the tires and front end shake that might be the front fender. I thought the cg300 jug was only 250cc
