Mutt Mongrel 125cc in UK

Nice-looking bike! 125cc seems a bit small, but it reminds me of the CCW Tha Ace Scrambler as well as the SYM Wolf Classic 150 (sort of a dirtied-up version).

Anyway, it's definitely a style I like. Thought I'd share the link to the story.

Check out the web site http://www.muttmotorcycles.com/

To bad that they are only 125s. They added EFI to make them EU4 Compliant whatever that is.

Looks like they have at least one 400cc thumper model (currently sold out). Suspect it is related to the upcoming announced-and-anticipated Genuine 400 in the US.

EU4 = EURO 4 emmission control...
comes in early 2018 for motor bikes..
cars & trucks are at EURO 5 .

Theres going to be alot of bikes that won't beable
to be sold in europe next year..
It's the main reason Yamaha stoped the XT660 range.
XT660Z Tenere / XT660R Duel sport / XT660X Motard.
Are building a new range of bikes around the MT07 motor..

Those look sweet! I would buy one in a heartbeat for the right price. I wish the Chinese distributors would drop ship those in crates with a 250cc for $1500. I bet there is a big enough market.

The closest I have seen are the CCW Tha Ace (much more expensive, but comes assembled and dealer supported) and the SYM Wolf Classic 150 (still more expensive and only 150cc, but it's a SOHC, I believe).

I have been pondering lately what a Hawk would look like with all the enduro stuff take off of it; just take it down to the frame and see if a gas tank and seat change might bring about a bit of Scrambler-style magic.

There is a fellow locally who is trying to sell his Yamaha TW200 that he has done exactly that to. I applaud him; it looks fantastic. Wish I could afford his 2K asking price. But it shows what can be done to a DS type bike. Not my photos - not my bike. No affiliation. Just think his bike is WAY cool.

I've wondered that about the hawk myself as well. A very cheap platform. That tw200 looks awesome! thats pretty cheap too. I can't find tw200s for less than $2500 round here
