I need a yob doing what I love (fixing up anything with an engine), but I doubt I can convince the Mrs. to move from this area

Tons of people moving from the rockies to here as the cost of housing is half or less. California transplants have made it unafordable for the average person. I have a friend leaving for here Monday from Kalispell, Montana. He bought a BEAUTIFUL home here on a couple acres adjoining 3,000 acres of state land for 200K. He would have paid 500K or more in Montana for a comparable house. Colorado is the same from what i hear.

Also saw this on a Montana page recently....

"My husband and I are both 4th generation Montanans and left for Iowa in September so that we could have a better and more affordable life. We miss the mountains, family and friends, but we have a quality life here that we could have never attained in MT."
