That's a refreshing approach; I wonder if it will catch on?

Electric bicycle, not motorcycle :P I guess technically it does have a motor, but when I think of electric motorcycles I think of a Brammo Enertia or an Electric Motorsports GPRS. Then I think of electric scooters, like all the ones commonly available from China, and then electric bicycles, like a regular bicycle with an electric motor attached. This seems closest to an electric bicycle... Though it is very different... I think I'd have to ride it to judge it, it looks really weird.

Upon further reflection, I think you are correct, Jim.

Those are just how I classify them, they all have motors and are "cycles" of some form, and really a motor cycle is a bicycle with a motor, which is technically the same thing as an electric motorcycle then right? 8O
I don't know I just think it would be neat to see some more of what I would classify an electric motorcycle. The prices on them though are too high, batteries aren't really good enough yet and are still too pricey (in my opinion). A Brammo Enertia would be a great bike to commute to and from work (if it was in range), but you could buy probably 3 or 4 Honda CBR 125's for the price, and they are pretty easy on gas. Anyways I think I'm sidetracking this topic. I don't know how it would feel to ride a "bike" like the yike bike.
