gy 125 filter

Ok now entering the dreaded winter season.
No riding just doing the projects ive been hiding from all year lol.
ok no riding partialy cos my gy's standard filter gave up last month :( .
So simple question is this filter safe for dirt use

and also if i fit this and a new cdi will i have to rejet the carb.

The filter looks fine for what you described. Dont think a CDI would make a diference in the jetting but the filter might require you go up 1 or 2 sizes on your main jet.

It looks like a decent dual layer pod. Use a good quality spray-on filter oil, and it should work fine.

Like Cal25 says, you might have to increase jet size, but you might also get away with just moving the clip down (under the slider).
