2004 CRF 230

I bought this bike with no motor and was wondering if a chinese brand 250cc will fit without modifying the frame?

I think the GIO 250cc motor will fit but Im not sure of the electrical parts will work.

Any ideas?

I am going to say no it will not fit without a lot of modding.....But who knows without seeing one out and next to the other motor...That You don't have 8O

Try to compare pics of the two engines. You should be able to find some online.

Also take a look at bike bandit parts schematics. They can be really helpful. I would say there is a chance of a fit. If so that will may a great project.
