Templar X success!

First, a big shout-out to Thumper for his assistance.

So, I was in the market for a Chinese Dual Sport. My buddy and I recently sold our jointly-owned KLR-250 and wanted a bike for his cabin and for some local rides. He recently purchased a Hawk 250. During my research, I really liked the Templar X, but unfortunately, it's not sold for "on-road use." After a bit of research and exchanging a few messages with a fellow member from this site, I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I'm located in St. Louis, MO. I ordered the bike through Power Sports Max, and it arrived just 3 days later. I was blown away by the quick delivery. I assembled the bike and installed a Nibbi 30 mm carb and Nibbi coil. I never even ran the bike with the original carb. The MCO arrived a few days later, but it noted "OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLE." I reached back out to Thumper, who passed along an email contact at PSM. I sent a very friendly email to his contact, and 5 days later, I had a new MCO with "MOTORCYCLE" on it. I called my insurance agent at Farmers, sent a picture of the MCO, and 10 minutes later, the bike was insured. With the paperwork in hand, I ran down to my local DMV in Ballwin and got her plated. I'll post back my thoughts once I've put some miles on her.

Congrats! We're twins!
I'm also in Missouri, down near Springfield. Had no issues titling and plating in Christian County with the Off Road Motorcycle marking on my MCO.
I installed a set of handguards on mine:
JFG RACING Motorcycle Universal Handguards Dirt Bike Hand Guards For Sur Ron ATV Pit Bike off Road Motocross Enduro MX- Black
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Waiting on a Fischmoto spark arrestor to arrive tomorrow so I'll be fully legal and ready to hit the logging roads out in the Mark Twain

Removed the old (incorrect) link. Here's a link direct to the mfg.

You're right, the link I posted was for the 40 kit. Good catch, just edited
