Supercub or CT125 clones

Does anyone import a Supercub or CT125 clone into the states?

No I do not want an Ice Bear Champion or anything that looks like a Grom.

I don't think so. The closest I've seen is the Lifan Cub ADV, which would be awesome to get hold of.

These guys have some stuff that might be what you're looking for. Best of luck on the hunt.

So, Here's the super Cub

The CT125 would be a little hard to find, though.

So Lifan makes them but no one imports them to the US?

I suppose they are selling all they can produce in the Asian market and don't need our money.

Maybe they are looking at the Honda Trail sales and deciding there is not enough market? IE not worth making it DOT/EPA legal here, esp. if it's a carby. Plus they probably have all the market for them in SE Asia that they can fulfill. Just guessing.

If you scroll down on the Lifan Chinese site, it says they sell 10,000 cubs in Thailand a year. I agree, however, they should consider bringing them here, as there are quite a few people who would appreciate a retro Cub, and don't want to pay Honda prices. However, Honda might be the ones who stopped all clone Cubs through a cease and desist letter like they did back around 2007 with the CT70 clones. I do believe the current CT70 clones we have in the US are under some kind of licensing deal. I recall SYM had a clone a few years back and stopped selling them. They still show it on their 'discontinued' bikes section on their website. See if you could track one down in Cycletrader. https://www.sym-usa.com/models/Discontinued/symba.html

The problem being, even here in CA, good, rebuilt CT90's go for about $2500.00 on CL. It's a tough market for the new stuff.
