2020 Magician - Is this the right way to route Front Brake Line on the front forks?

Hi! So I got a Magician dual sport as a surprise gift from my wife.. and she even got the upgraded performance color (red!)

Anyways, A minor question about routing and securing the front brake line.

The line has (2) things I would call "grommets" or something. They were loose and not connected to anything (just floating around on the brake line.)

Meanwhile, the brake line itself was secured to the front left fork with a plastic bracket, but there is no "cushion" or gasket or grommet that would help prevent abrasion from damaging the brake line.

So, I thought about loosening the bracket, putting one of those plastic "grommets" into the bracket. The photo is of me doing just that. To me, it looks better and safer for the brake line this way, but I don't like how the plastic bracket isn't a snug fit for the full circumference of the fork anymore.

Now, obviously the bracket doesn't uniformly fit on the front fork anymore, but I can't help but think this might be better for the brake line (preventing chaffing and abrasion)

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Oh man, so sorry about the huge photos! I never was good at embedding images.

I'm going to try to figure it out and edit the OP to fix the HUGE photo.

Thanks!

I sort of thought the website would auto scale the image, and then if you clicked on it, it would open up bigger.
