Hello from AZ!

Hello everyone!

First off I wanted to thank every member for helping to create such an extensive resource of knowledge! It has been invaluable to me.

Last night I purchased the Hawk 250, so I have to figure out how to register it and get my motorcycle endorsement . I was going to buy the Honda CRF250L my fiance saw the price tag! She suggested looking for something a little more cost effective, like my Apollo 125. We're knocking out her student loans like no tomorrow (trade apprentice FTW). I've lurked the forums because of researching my Apollo, but the Hawk has definitely got me hooked with all the great help from you guys and the generally positive reviews. I think it's safe to say im a Chinese rider for life, with maybe one Honda . They're cheap and I love working on my bike and maintaining it, it's almost as fun as riding!

Anyways, thank you all again for making me comfortable with my purchase!

Greetings!

Welcome to the forum! What color did you decide on? Some people, not mentioning any names, seem to think that the black ones are faster!?! According to physics, the color black absorbs all of the colors of the spectrum, thus making it heavier! And heavier is slower!

Is this true? Highly unlikely, but I was watching Star Trek Discovery and it sounded logical!

Live long and Prosper (on your new Hawk)!

That's a myth. Only the blue ones are slow.
